Watching BBC Children in Need and thinking shame on us as a nation. We have 177 billionaires in this country, any one of whom could fund everything that Children in Need does out of their beer money and not notice they’d spent it.

Then we have a prime minister who is with those billionaires as one of the richest people in the country drawing a salary from the public purse whilst thousands of families depend on food banks to survive.
