@kytta @jwz Thanks Nikita! Seems like allowing any site to host their own #share2fedi or use a centralized version as a service is by far the most elegant solution. And based on all the examples like yours and @ben ’s that are available today there doesn’t seem much of an excuse for media companies not to have a mastodon (or fediverse) share button on their posts. There certainly doesn’t seem to be any technical barriers.
@jwz Interesting 🤔 Are you sure you’re describing #shareon, and not a different project by Nikita? Perhaps the #Share2Fedi share page?
