This great piece would be even greater if The American Progress had a “Share to Mastodon” button on its articles. There are so many share options on the articles now with your new share system so I was surprised that the most obvious twitter replacement, Mastodon is still missing.

I have several online paid subscriptions to news websites.

I just started contacting them to request that they add a “Share To Mastodon” button on their articles similar to the other links that they have.

If many of us do this I think it will cause the buttons to be added more quickly and Mastodon will become more widely used and normalized.
