Well, NG++ of #armoredcore6 finished.

Game of the year, honestly, if it wasn't for the absurd requirements i would go for the platinum, but S-ing all missions feels really painful.

It's a brilliant game, only marred by the lack of balance on weapons, but it's mostly because of how broken some are. Experimenting is a lot of fun still, I really hope we get some good DLC to extract some extra mileage.

You Suck At Parking (#yousuckatparking) is a racing game that's actually about...parking. You've got limited time and gas to get from your garage, through an obstacle course, to your parking spot. This is one of those games where failing is just as fun as winning - a great time all around!

I've been really busy, but I did manage to finish Planet of Lana (#PlanetofLana) and I implore anyone who found Limbo or Inside too oppresive (because they are!) To give this one a try. It's on gamepass, roughly 4 or so hours long.

Finally got around to playing #ArcadeParadise, where you take over the family laundromat business with designs and dreams of turning it into a bustling arcade! Very cool game so far, super chill with very little urgency in what you need to do. And everything is a mini game, from doing the laundry for your customers, to throwing rubbish in the dumpster, picking chewing gum off the bottom of seats, to of course the arcade games themselves. I finished playing Trails From Zero today on my lunch break because I couldn't leave it alone 🙈 Here's some thoughts on the game:

The long and short of it is that I really loved the game. There's a lot (a lot!) of dialogue but I was never bored with it because it all seemed meaningful for plot or character development.

So last night I found a bit of time to start a new game called #Storyteller. And I've got to say, this thing absolutely rocks.

The core concept is this.....you place blocks into a storyboard to tell a story that fits the title of said story; it's a puzzle game.

It's full of charm and the animation is an absolute joy to behold. The only negative that I can find is that it ends too soon.

@matthewas Graphics rarely make the game, same as in film. Many folks get drawn into the "amazing graphics"... I don't know why they prioritise it. I love well implemented graphics, but graphics have nothing to do with gameplay, which is what gaming is all about.

I've been replaying #Fallout3, and I reckon it's a better game than #Fallout4 because the gameplay is better (even on the ultrawide where the reticle doesn't align at close range), and the incidental crapola that goes on feels more natural. The kids look at it and tell me "it's old", and I tell them I know that, and it's awesome.

My slightly weird obsession with all things #FranklinsLostExpedition continues, this time with a videogame.

I'm playing a little thing called #ThePaleBeyond. It's 'loosely' based on #TheTerror which is itself a fictionalised story based on the tragic lost expedition.

So far and I'm really digging it. The game is heavy on the reading, and it looks like choices are going to play a massive part of what makes this game move.

Let's see if I can get these people home...
