The story was somewhat classical for heroic fantasy and I try to give a traditional style to the illustrations but I can’t find colored versions of the two illustrations

I continue to explore old stuff with this one, which is also a perfect for the #ShareYourRejections trend.
The story was about a teenage girl trapped by the serial killer Erzebeth Bathory who tries to escape her fate by exchanging her body with the heroin. Eventually, the girl would be saved by Richard Marquend, a sort of Dr Strange mixed with D Copperfield.

#ShareYourRejections The reviewer evaluates him/herself as an expert in the field of the paper. Then, the review is a long list of "this is not defined / why am I supposed to know this / the paper is not self contained" all about the most basic definitions in the field.
Within 24 hours I was rejected by two places:
“We looked over your portfolio and you're an interaction designer. We need someone with different skills.”
“So we looked at your portfolio and you're just not an interaction designer.”
Here are my humblebrag #ShareYourRejections
After 15 years in the industry, someone at Apple reached out and wanted me to join their team NOW. We exchanged a few emails and I was ready to drop almost everything for the opportunity.
Earlier this year, the same thing happened with them for a much smaller gig.
I was honored both times and got all jazzed to think about it but in the end I have no idea how or why they do the things they do at Apple, because both times, they ghosted me.
