Finally got some white background shots of the #SharkMouthBlenheim after resolving a nagging build issue* that made it finished but also not finished
#Airfix kit with an #Eduard interior detail set (mostly invisible despite the extensive cockpit and nose glazing), with DK Decals, depicting a Blenheim used as a Beaufighter squadron runabout in 1942

Going less is more and finished up the oil weathering along with some chipping with a sponge to the wing roots. Applied panel line highlighting only to areas I think would have been grimy - washing them all is a popular look but while it does look cool I'm not sure it's always accurate, plus the lighter coloured oils I applied earlier have subtly highlighted the rest of the lines anyway.
Props also finished and attached with just a little chipping

Probably the only areas I'm going to apply an actual wash to on the airframe itself are around the engines and between them and the fuselage. I've added a little bit of darker oil filtering around the engines themselves, but as far as panel line highlighting goes, apart from some pastel work after the final flat coat goes on I think I'm happy with the finish where it's at now

I liked the engines so I put (exhaust collector) rings on them. With around a dozen parts each the engines are mini kits in themselves
