#cop27 The much talked about #Loss&Damage agenda at the Climate Change Summit at #SharmElSheik, #Egypt; shows the unwillingness on the part of developing nations to own and accept the fact that climates change exists and we all should contribute to reducing its effect and fight to mitigate its destruction. Especially #African nations, some are only interested in reparations without putting in substantial effort in promoting Climate mitigation measures. The #Africanrainforest is in danger of extinction due to uncontrolled #timberlogging, yet still, they are fighting for #damage&loss while creating more chaos leading to the climate emergency. Nations should only be able to access the loss damage facility after having put substantial work into climate change mitigating policies and measures.
