I usually do Pride and Prejudice, and maybe add some Aubrey/Maturin and maybe some Sharpe. I'm thinking about doing a Jeeves and Wooster run, and/or Agatha Christie, too.
Which should I start with?

Looking forward to finally embarking on the #Sharpe series and - as there are quite a few instalments - I thought I would start at the chronological beginning: "Sharpe's Tiger" is set in 1799, with a young Private Richard Sharpe at the Siege of Seringapatam.
A bit late to the party I know, but tbh I watched the TV series (starring Sean Bean) quite a few years ago and did not follow up on the novels behind it .
So far, it's been quite a riveting read.

What proved unexpected is that I am currently listening to Book 5 of #BernardCornwell #Sharpe novels, Prey.
I started the first one with a degree of trepidation, mainly out of concern about the interest of the content and setting, but Cornwell is quite an entertaining author.
I suspect that after a few more novels from this series I may start looking at the televised adaptation that stars Sean Bean.
