As a very young child, I talked my mom into taking me to see Infra-Man in theaters.
It would be funny to find out years later that the film that inspired my appreciation for Japanese #tokusatsu and #kaiju cinema was in fact NOT from Japan, but instead a #ShawBrothers production from Hong Kong.

The Bride from Hell (1972) is a Shaw Brothers movie from the period when they were making tentative forays into horror.
A young woman is manipulated into marriage, but his bride may be a ghost. Whether she knows she's a ghost is another matter.
It's a bit of a mess but has its spooky moments. Worth seeing as an early example of Hong Kong horror.
