Long drive home today, but with a lot to mull over after reconnecting with a lot of people for the first time in forever. It is good to feel like part of a professional community, it turns out.

I’m in Minneapolis for the Shakespeare Association of America conference. I’ve only been here once before in the 90s and had forgotten that if you have a good sense of direction (which I don’t), you can navigate huge sections of downtown via enclosed skyway.
I’m going to try to get a feel for them today — though I’m not entirely encouraged by the transportation department’s advertisement leading with “get happily lost” 😬#shax2023

Spending my first morning in Minneapolis for the Shakespeare Association of America conference #shax2023 ! Looking forward to seeing some of you here!
I will be at #Shax2023 and eagerly seeking new submissions to "Late Tudor & Stuart Drama" which I co-edit with Helen Ostovich for MIP. Please let me know if you'd like to meet to discuss your book proposal. See the link in my bio for information about this series.
What I'm feeling this morning is that I need to take the momentum I'm feeling about my #shax2023 paper and turn it into an article. This is my writing task for the spring.
@CristinaLAlfar @VCP SAA papers! That's so cool. What are you writing on (if you feel like sharing)? I'll be in the 'Counting (In) Early Modern Drama' seminar. Let me know what seminars you are in, so I can plan my conference accordingly! #shax2023
OK, 375 words. I think that's OK even if it is 75 words too many. #shax2023 Time to enjoy Friday night.
Lol, my abstract for my #shax2023 paper is 684 words, a good 384 words too many. It's nearly a paper. #amwriting
Revised my abstract for #shax2023
#ShakeRace in Popular Culture seminar and wrote four really rough pages of my paper (on AppleTV+ Dickinson!) today. Really rough, but still #AmWriting
