Listening to a really interesting Q&A with Mathangi Subramanian via the #ShelterBoxBookClub. We've been reading A People's History of Heaven which is a really positive and diverse story set in a Banglaore slum and it's great to hear about her experiences working in Bangalore that lead to writing it.

I like the books that I read through the book club but I think I like the zoom calls with the authors more.

I highly recommend #ShelterBoxBookClub if you enjoy character-led stories (fiction and memoir) that take you across the world and immerse you in a variety of cultures.
