Burke loves people. It doesn't matter if he just met you 5 minutes ago - you are already his favorite person in the whole world. He follows you around with this big goofy grin on his face, and if you make eye contact with him he just melts! He is calm, easy to walk/good leash manners, knows sit and is learning down. Being at the shelter is so hard - he is really struggling with the fact that he sees people walking around all day but he can't get to them. Do you know PACK? The People and Animal Cardio Klub (PACK) is a group of volunteers who share a common passion for running or walking with adoptable dogs. Not only does this activity provide the dogs with much-needed exercise and socialization, but it also offers dogs an opportunity to enjoy the outdoor and to get more attention while waiting for our new forever homes. Every Saturday morning from 8 am to 10 am, we gather at either Rock Creek Park or the Arboretum. You can easily spot us in our eye-catching "Adopt Me" vests. Warning: Falling head over heel in love is highly likely!
