The middle eastern #keffiyah / #shemagh is a practical thing for keeping the sun off your head & neck. (Also used as a face covering if required)
No where near as warm as they look.

@dto Honestly most of the real impacts of cultural appropriation are economic in nature, not individual. For example, the culturally significant mostly Arabic/Palestinian headscarf #keffiyeh or #shemagh has "enjoyed" fashion status in the West, leading to cheap mass production outcompeting native economies and erasing its cultural meaning reducing it into fashion.
