2019 Spring Jingmai Shengtai raw puerh Maocha from Farmer Leaf. Super clean, soft flavor and pleasant mellow energy. Long, long mint-camphor aftertaste.

Thursday raw puerh, 2018 Spring Jingmai Miyun from Farmerleaf tea. Their "daily drinker" puerh blend is a soft, low bitterness blend with pleasant body based energy. Very good value raw puerh!

2017 "Laowushan" raw puerh from Xizihao Daughter is surprisingly mellow for its relatively young age. And despite its mellow flavor, leaves a lengthy impression in the empty cup and in my mind. Calming, body centered energy completes the picture.

2020 Baby Dragon Raw Puerh from Crimson Lotus teas. A reasonably priced easy drinking puerh blend. Early steeps are fruity and soft. As you push the length of steeps, a bitter green backbone becomes apparent in the aftertaste.

2016 Mengku Naked Dragonball from White2Tea. Since I've been drinking raw puerh teas that are about the same age, but stored in "wetter/hotter" places like Taiwan and Guangzhou, it is interesting to try this tea. The soft vibrant character of the tea is out front with just a hint of storage character lurking in the background. It does have good length of flavor, on the palate and in the cup, and a pleasant energy.
