Shenmue II ✨ such a wonderful title. It was what made me find out about the Walled City of Kowloon, a Hong Kong district that seems perfect for a mysterious story!

I really enjoyed episode 2 and 3 of #ShenmueTheAnimation. And the second Gui Zhang appeared in ep 3 I fell in love all over again, lol XD

But, (more) seriously, I really like how they depicted Gui Zhang in this and even managed to slip in a bit more about his (complicated) relationship with his father, and - by extension (by Ryo having a different view of his own father) - managed to have him connect with Ryo in a meaningful way (imho).

Just watched the first episode of #ShenmueTheAnimation and I quite like it so far. Some things were a bit silly, but overall it was pretty decent, imho, the aninmation itself, too. And they also brought back Masaya Matsukaze as Ryo's voice actor, so that was a nice surprise and is definitely gonna make this more enjoyable for me in general! :D And I can't wait to see Gui Zhang!

... and now I also want to play the games again (and I still haven't even played Shenmue 3 ...) 'XD
