It was Sheryl MacKay's final day on CBC radio's BC show 'North by Northwest'. Sheryl has retired after 22 years as host of the show. Her warm, gentle style and choice of interesting topics and guests will be missed.

She will join the list of fondly remembered CBC personalities: Marion Barschel in the Okanagan (still a producer?), Michael Enright, Paul Kennedy.

Some newcomers are doing a fine job and I also wish them well as they take on the torch for the CBC.
