Getting the covers just right has been a big pull this morning: the covers will be laminated and we found one image went from modest contrast but good to low contrast with test lamination applied. Our printers worked on the images, printed new plates, and the results were magic. #shifthappensbook

TIL: The cutting and folding machine at the printing company stamps air-vent perforations in the folded side that will be trimmed. This prevents bunching that would leave a crease when the machine folds! We're nearly done printing volume 2 of #shifthappensbook, and they're already doing a first trim and fold. We start in on volume 1 tomorrow through Monday.
