A friend and I started shiitake logs in 2020, and I got exactly one mushroom a year ago. I’ve been ignoring them and suddenly today there are a BUNCH. I have no idea what’s going on, it’s February and it freezes every night. Hopefully they’ll get large enough to harvest soon, it’s supposed to get into the low teens next week and I don’t think they’ll like that. #gardening #forest #mushrooms #shiitakes
