@LumberingSailfish @bookstodon if you’re interested in dipping your toes into #LitRPG I recommend “He who fights with monsters,” by #Shirtaloon. The writing is similar to #DouglasAdams. Or #TheWanderingInn, a story about a reluctant hero and her friends.

@tifter @hiramring the writing in “He who fights monsters” is excellent and gets better as the series progresses. #Shirtaloon reminds me of #DouglasAdams at times.

@hiramring My absolute favorite so far is "He Who fights with monsters" by #Shirtaloon. I'm currently immersed in "The Wandering Inn" thanks to @tifter introducing it to me.

The #litrpg rabbit hole is deeper than I was expecting. My discoveries in the past few months mean I am now having to actively track the series I’m in the middle of. #shirtaloon was my gateway now I’m in it for the long haul.
