There is, for reasons, a lot of discussion of transgender people and their rights on the fediverse currently. For anyone looking for a trans perspective on the 'Transgender Issue' I highly recommend Shon Faye's book: 'The Transgender Issue - An Argument For Justice". It makes the strong case that liberation for trans people is liberation for everyone. Maybe buy a paper copy and keep it on your shelf.
