The wind kicked up and tickled my whole body with perfect air. (We’d had a blast furnace day.) Gazing at the Milky Way, I said, “I love you,” out loud to everything. Also “Mother.” With the passing of each shooting star, I said the mantra of compassion, OM MANI PADME HUM.
I guess I had a lot to say.

It took me a while but I managed to get a Perseids meteor on camera! I didn't see this one with my own eyes, but clearly my camera caught it. It's hard to see in the expansive star field but there is a streak in the sky at the center of the bottom third of the picture. Caught a shooting star this weekend. No real reason to be out except I was wondering if that whispy cloud in the middle was the northern lights. During some test shots I noticed the streak in the sky. Was really exciting to see I caught the shooting star. Mastodon will not let me upload video because it's in 1920x1440 ratio (Full image) Changing to 16:9 (Wide crop) will shot in 1920x1080 and Mastodon will accept it.

i never looked into XG again after i didn't like 'mascara'.
however, after a week of me really enjoying their current comeback at music shows, i finally listened to the rest. and wow! they are amazing! 😳
