📚 Shoot The Girl First is a metalcore band from Nice, France. They formed in 2010 and were playing post-hardcore with electro. Recently they’ve switched more towards metalcore. They’ve released 3 main albums in 2011, 2013 and 2016.

🗣️ Shoot The Girl First was born in the golden age of emo and were pretty much crabcore. 🦀 Their song “Last Breath For A Capulet” encapsulates it all. The album they released in 2013, “Follow The Clouds”, is moving more towards metalcore, but still with electronics. Their latest album in 2016 can be considered metalcore, electronics still included. Julie Bourboujas plays synth and does screams. Early on as backup screams (that’s a thing!) but with their latest album it’s pretty much 50/50.
