Reflecting on my latest mall walks last weekend, it strikes me that the minimalistic Shaker wooden look is bizarrely incongruent with the sort of products Apple sells. IMO they'd look much better in a Futurist setting a la "Tron: Legacy".

I can't help but think I'm pretty materialistic. From childhood I've always enjoyed walking shopping malls just to peruse the merchandise; luxury malls full of beautiful things (and people) are my favorite, but even not-so-nice ones like the one I walked this morning can be fun.
