I’ve been gluing up a bunch of scrap construction lumber into fat blanks to mount on the lathe. I don’t think they’ll end up as anything but chips, but it’s fun to practice with with gouges and scrapers without worrying about “wasting” wood.

#TBT to my old shop and the reason my wife is the #greatest

This is a shot of my 1-car garage shop from December 2020. I'm in the middle of building #Megadesk for my son - replacing his tiny cubby desk with a 7-foot monstrosity.

When she saw me crawling under the desk and workbench to get from one side of the shop to the other, she declared I should build the shop I wanted in our backyard.

She really is the greatest.
