Thought I’d share a few of my own book stashes this very fine Sunday morning.

I reorganised them by colour last year and I love it. I always know what a favourite book looks like. A less favoured one I don’t fret about it. And if I ever find it? It gets culled.

I didn’t colour-group the writing and editing reference books though. I use them too often and they’re usually a hot jumbled muddle.

This is the corner of my sewing room where I keep my research books on #DressHistory, #ElizabethanPortraiture, #TextileHistory, #Tapestry, #Heraldry, #PreRaphaelites, and the like. There are four tall bookshelves all told (IKEA Billy bookcases + antique furniture is so me).

My writing room (aka Scriptorium) doubles as a guest bedroom. It is L-shaped with boards-n-brick bookcases & several 'built' found online tucked along the outer wall.

A house fire and several moves forced me to super streamline my hoard, so this is everything I have right now❤ Loved seeing Tolkien on your shelves!! I'm trying to get my hands on a copy of 'House of Leaves,' so I can finally read it, and some biographies, to start stretching this collection out again!! Fun post😊

I've been checking out #ShowMeYourBookcase and am feeling a severe case of the FOMOs since I'm strictly digital these days due to lack of space in my little house. 😔

Is there an app that creates a #virtual bookcase so that you *could* share images of your book collection? If not, can some #tech person make one please? Bookshelf has to be customisable. Spine-facing out as will as front cover facing out as options so it looks like a real collection please and thank you.
