I've muted the T word and ... while we're here, whilst not exactly the same but is similar in terms of triggers for anger and arguments and insults that are synonymous with birdsite, a big thanks to all those that put #showmore #contentwarning filters on their personal #politics opinions/rants. It really helps folk decide if they want to open 'show more' and read it or not. I find it a really helpful and very thoughtful layer of protection given by the 'tooter'.

Looks like you can click " #ShowLess" if you want to toot out a collapsed post.
You click #SHOWMORE to post an expanded toot.

Let's help everyone learn how to use the SHOW MORE button.

When you go to write a post, click on the "CW" (content warning) - your content doesn't have to be triggering to use this, there are lots of great reasons to use this.

It will put the SHOW MORE button in your message and give you a "title" field in which you can write the text that will precede the SHOW MORE button.
