I watched this last night only to check out the hype for myself. It goes through my feed a lot and supposedly it was banned in the UK in the 80s and had over an hour of scenes cut from it in the US. It's on Shudder now in its entirety and I gotta say I consider myself a reasonably intelligent person but I have no clue what was going on in most of this movie. Lots of yelling and spinning in circles. I don't know what the monster was supposed to be.

📽️ 🍿 I thought Satan's Slaves was a very effective & creepy movie, but hot damn did they upgrade the horror (while also paying homage to various other Horror movies) with Satan's Slaves Communion. Intense, atmospheric, and eerie, this sequel was such a joy to watch as a horror fan. Disturbing and unnerving, filled with supremely scary shit- thoroughly enjoyed this movie and highly recommend them both.

I Blame Society (2020)

“I’m a strong female lead”.

This has been on my watch list for a while and only just noticed it’s on #Shudder and so pleased I’ve watched it.

This fits in nicely with 2020’s other Dash Cam/video selfie movie, Spree although it’s not quite as overtly socially political, this definitely plays conceptually with female protagonist in #horror. And it does it well, using humour to reinforce its message.

Maybe add Spree and Deadstream if you’re looking for a triple bill.

Started to watch Satan's Slaves last night on Shudder but then a freak storm came through & we lost WiFi.
Thank the Dark Lord for physical media, we watched Cat People instead and will finish Slaves tonight.
