An #Osprey (#PandionHaliaetus) gives Fox (the #photographer) a side-glance. The #fishhawk, as it is sometimes called, has excellent #vision, and can quickly dive down out of the air, nearly submerging themselves in the #water, to catch #fish. They are also called #riverhawk or #seahawk. Their #diet is mainly #fish, but they will eat other small #animals. They rarely #scavenge.
This osprey is siting on a pole at the #Apopka #Wildlife Drive in #Florida. When Fox began triggering the #shutter, the #bird heard the sound and glanced around to make sure Fox wasn’t up to anything more than #photography.

This is an earlier V1 of the P.170 #camera with an optional rise/fall #shutter. All the prototypes are made from Honduras Mahogany with aluminum hardware. There is no #pinhole in place, but it is normally f/200 - 0.012” . The camera has a 170 degree field-of-view and 6 by 17 format.

@JoHowell this is an incomplete V3 of the design. With V1, I made these photos. The #pinhole is f/200 - 0.012”. That version of the #camera has a rise/fall #shutter on it.

@nerwin personally I favor #Flickr because it is very #photo focused, there is a great respective culture amongst the users and usually there is no debates on politics or other topics than #photography. But there is one killer feature at Flickr that #Instagram and #Mastodon lack: #EXIF data. For me it‘s interesting to see, what #camera and #lens a photo was taken with, which #aperture, #shutter speed and #ISO was used. I think these things matter.

Ich glaub, ich werde die vielen geplanten Screenshots doch "wie üblich" machen (#Screenshot - Manjaro/Gnome).

Mit #Spectacle bin ich nicht warm geworden. Hab mir heute #Shutter angeschaut, bei dem ich die genauen Koordinaten ins Profil schreiben konnte. Fand ich cool 😀 ABER: Letztlich brauchte es dann doch die Betätigung von 2 Tasten. "Druck" und (zum Screenshot erstellen) "Enter". Danach noch die Taste "Bild runter", um den nächsten Screenshot machen zu können.
