Today's #soundtrack is #AyanaTsuji and her live performance, Live In Montréal.
She and her cohort perform #Sibelius , #Stravinsky, and a tickle of Saint-Saëns to a ridiculously high level.
Melodies which lighten, grandiosity which humbles, a delicacy which inspires, and a passion that will tear out your heart.
I wanted a chill day but my 'music to-do' list said 'oh my sweet summer child' and kicked me in the feelz.
Awards, praise, and accolades for this then 18 year old wunderkind.

The project really lost its way under some truly bad corporate leadership. But over the last 4ish years they’ve really turned it around. It was too late for a lot of us who moved on, but it would be silly of me to not acknowledge all the improvements to the product and its reputation in that time.

@libreoffice @avon_deer @aetus yeah, that"s because #Oracle basically gave the original devs the middle finger and they hard-forked #OpenOffice to #LibreOffice.
And then Oracle made it basically #Abandonware so it ended up at the Apache Foundation...
Similar to #Sibelius vs. #Dorico but both are #CCSS and don't share any codebase whatsoever!

I'm scoring in #Sibelius, and using the #Noteperformer sounds for playback. Overall, the instrumental sounds are surprisingly good, and even the vocal sounds are tolerable, though of course they don't sound like humans singing words. (I don't think there's any solution for the spoken parts.)
