When I say that "friendship is anarchy," I mean it only partly in jest. A #scientific #study was done that found that dominance hierarchy was flattened, with increased behavioral synchrony, in rhesus macaques, in relation to elevated #oxytocin and #vasopressin, which are two hormones that are associated with deep friendships. Aspiring to #friendship and #siblinghood, in all #society, is fundamentally #anarchist.
