My company doesn't give #sicktime, but "flex time" that can be used for #illness or anything else and does not require a doctor's note. The problem is, if I have a #cold, I may still deem myself well enough to work because I want to use my flex time for a weekend vacation.

So, we need an incentive for sick workers to stay at home and take sick days when they are really #sick.

I must say I'm really disappointed in #JoeBiden's approach to the #Railroad contract. He should have fought for their sick time. We just went through the worst #pandemic in 100 years, and lack of #SickTime was a major contributor to early spread.
Plus it puts him on-par with #RonaldReagan and the air traffic controllers as decidedly anti-union when it really mattered. #politics #history

Meanwhile, back at the #WhiteHouse, #railroaders get #railroaded, and #TedCruz and #MarcoRubio are playing the populist card, slithering up on their bellies like the #snakes they are...(thoughts get away from me sometimes.)

Anyway...They're both saying that workers deserved #sicktime, and that they got screwed, and you're goddamn right they got screwed, but fuck-you-very-much for saying it.
