Perhaps a bit outdated, by #SidneyMintz's #foodanthropology work remains an important part of #foodstudies. Many of his papers and books are what brought me to the study of #foodhistory. It is a drag that so much of his work remains behind paywalls though. https://www.jstor.org/stable/4132873
