Is anyone actually using the #SignalStories? I tried to use it before moving to Mastodon and found that I got no engagement and hated the interface. Not sure why Signal was trying to add #socialmedia to a communications app. @signalapp can you please give up and remove this #UnwantedFeature?

Eeeeendlich-wie geil... Signal hat "Stories", vergleichbar mit dem "Status" bei Whatsäpp. Das Einzige was noch bei Signal fehlte und ich nach dem Weggang bei WA schmerzlich vermisst habe. Nun ist meine Welt wieder ein Stück besser 😻

I’ve always found voice call quality on #Signal way better than even #FaceTime. With #SignalStories, things go a step further for sure. Given a choice, would prefer to switch completely to Signal, but there’s a vast majority that’s addicted to WhatsApp & refuses to try anything else.

Great news! #Signal's new #Story feature is now available for use!

Similar to those of other messengers and social media services, #SignalStories are photos, videos or texts that are shared end-to-end encrypted with a custom set of contacts and that disappear after 24 hours. Useful for sharing live moments with a bunch of friends at once.
