I also wanted to try out #signoz as a collector for logging, but it appears that there is an issue with running it on an M1 Mac, so I'll have to start with #jaeger. Hopefully, by leveraging #OpenTelemetry clients, I can just repoint them to a different service and the data will continue to collect without much rework in my codebase. 🤞

Is anyone using/self-hosting #SigNoz for #APM? Would you recommend it?

We're currently on New Relic but our subscription plan will no longer be supported in the future.

i've been monitoring a #phoenix app with otelcol, prom_ex, and #signoz, using client tls certs for the otlp. it's been very useful and awesome to have a 100% foss monitoring stack
