A #silentmovie double bill on #TCM tonight:

#NormaShearer is outstanding as 2 very different women in Monta Bell's LADY OF THE NIGHT (1925). Also in the cast: #MalcolmMcGregor

Next, #EdnaPurviance is excellent in the only feature #drama directed by #CharlesChaplin: A WOMAN OF PARIS. Also in the cast: #AdolpheMenjou

I’m not sure #ErrolFlynn’s Robin Hood would have enjoyed snapping someone’s neck as much as #DouglasFairbanks’s #RobinHood does. There are definite signs that #DouglasFairbanksinRobinHood is a pre-code movie. #silentfilm #silentmovie #classicfilm.
