Just finished this absolutely excellent #biography of #LouiseBrooks by Barry Paris– maybe the best #bio of an entertainer I've ever read (admittedly, low bar). Super well-researched and well-written, a truly enjoyable read about an enigmatic and problematic #silentfilms star who became an icon despite never being a very big star. Highly recommended; I'm working on her own book, "Lulu in Hollywood," next.
