I just published a first version of the #SilverBullet #Mastodon plug allowing you to publish toots right from SilverBullet. It supports multiple accounts, and also supports pulling in recent toots for local archiving purposes (and editing them).

#Useability / #UX gripe.

When I need to make a note in Windows in a hurry and I can't use #Silverbullet (which is awesome btw), the #StickyNotes app is *right there*, and syncs my notes between computers.

If you DELETE a note on a different computer, trying to launch Notes on the one that last had THAT note, it keeps closing (cause note !valid anymore), with no error or rationale *why*. You have to launch from its Start shortcut, which launches in "List all" mode instead of "Last Note" mode.

Just found: silverbullet.md - #SilverBullet is an offline or online cross platform .js based WYSIWYG markdown editor. Obstensibly its a note taking app but it saves pages in .md files and if you put your "pages" folder in a cloud folder to sync across devices.. Write posts there then paste 2 WF!

Playing more and more with #SilverBullet — it's an extensible, open source, personal knowledge management system from @zef.

It's aptly named because I've spent loads of time trying to find the perfect fit for me and I think this could be it.

I have it running on my under-the-desk server, where I can access it on my local lan or from anywhere via #tailscale

The SilverBullet website is itself built using the software itself, which is kinda cool.

@RWclimate Unfortunately very true. Naomi Klein wrote a book: "This Changes Everything". The #Oligarchy / #BigBusiness CEO's believe there will be a #SilverBullet and they will be OK because of their money. I suspect #ClimateChange will be catastrophic and we will be back in the #StoneAge. Sorry for the pessimism.
