A couple of weeks after moving here, I cleaned up one of the birdfeeders in the front yard tree. It took a while, but the birds are starting to come around. The goldfinch is the newest sighting. The curve-billed thrasher was first. There’s been a pair of house finches and a couple of acorn woodpeckers, one of which is a bit of a bully. A small flock of sparrows hangs out in a shrub nearby but I have yet to see them at the feeder. #birdwatching #birdfeeder #NewMexico #silvercitynm
