Made a thing! Can’t find my brass rat (class ring) that I always wear on this finger so I took a couple hours in studio to make myself something to wear until it shows up. Excited to use one of the Sterling opals (sterlingturquoiseandopal.com) my friend Sara Eileen introduced me to, and pleased I dragged myself out of the house at 9pm and am home at 11 with a finished ring. I 💙 my studio.

Today's ring is one I really adore, simple but... I don't know, maybe it is the texture on the shank. I had just finished it, hence my work-dirty hand. Sterling with one of my own art glass cabochons. I miss the greenery and sun in this photo from just a couple months ago!

Today's art, from me: I make elephant rings, as well as bee rings. This one is super huge and ridiculous and I love it. I haven't made one recently, guess I may add it to the list to try again and see how my skills have improved/changed since last time. I made the glass cabochon of elephant first, then set it in the silver ring.

I love this ring. It sold last year, but I keep the photo around to remind me to make another one in a similar style. The glass bees are just so .. *hug* 24k gold, sterling silver, glass.

While I get well enough to get back in the studio, here is a recent ring I made. I hope you enjoy it! The silver band has a leaf print texture, and the stones are an Oregon beach stone I picked up the last time I was at the coast, and torch worked glass cabochon with a bubble trapped within it's depths. It's currently at the Riversea Gallery in Astoria, OR.
