Large rock slide probably caused by melting permafrost in alps
Ice is not only melting in the Arctic and Antarctic regions. What used to be hard rocks is now crumbly and soft.
The mountain in question is now 100 meters smaller and still unstable. Experts say that generally anything above 2,500 or 2,600 meters is in danger of similar events.
