Yo no he podido entender la teoría de la #Matrix que defiende #Musk. Si la realidad es solo un niño jugando #SimEarth ¿Para qué llegar a otros planetas si eso es verdad? De seguro ese es de los objetivos de la simulación y apenas se cumpla se acabará, como en ese juego o en #Civilization.
En cambio, lo largoplacistamente responsable sería mantener la vida en la tierra lo máximo posible (al menos hasta saber si se puede trascender la simulación).

@Thelunarfox I was terrible at it too. My first copy of #SimEarth was borrowed from a friend. I was a kid and didn't have the instruction manual so I had no idea what I was doing. I've always loved artificial life games though, and had a blast just watching species rise and fall over the planet's lifetime. Fond memories.

@dHeinemann funny, i was daydreaming only yesterday about a much higher resolution #SimEarth, and how that might affect the gameplay and get a new generation interested. let me know if you start the project:)

A few nights back I dreamed that #SimEarth received an in-depth review from a popular YouTube channel and was rediscovered by a whole new generation of people.

I loved that game, along with #SimAnt.

I wonder what it'd take to develop my own SimEarth clone? 🤔
