So I have been #reading #SimonJimenez's 'The Spear Cuts Through Water' and so far it is absolutely incredible. Simon effortlessly shifts the narrative between past, present, and something in-between, breathing life and incredible depth into his world by giving a voice to even the briefest of characters. He allows us to peer, if just for a moment, into their minds to hear their thoughts, feelings or emotions on whatever is happening around them. I'm about 1/3 through it, but its a 10/10 from me
