Today’s art: Work in progress. An oil underpainting using the Zorn palette plus Prussian blue, because the beautiful reference photo has a background based on Prussian blue and a green based on Prussian blue easily mixed using yellow ochre, ivory black, and titanium white. Later this week I will essay an alla prima approach to the face.
