Her childhood abuse, high sensitivity, devotion to truth & humanity, & her deep processing of history, put her ahead of her time.

When she said the cycle of child abuse, instigated globally by churches (partnered w/colonial powers), is at the root of addictions & suffering, she was 100% right. GOP's 6 Catholic abusers rely on corruption, lies, & control of women's bodies & labor. She fought it.

Ireland says goodbye to singer Sinead O'Connor.

Hundreds of people turned out in the picturesque Irish coastal town of Bray for the funeral cortege of acclaimed artist Sinead O'Connor who died last month at the age of 56.

In addition to her family and friends, Irish leaders were also present at O'Connor's memorial service.

My favourite Sinead track (of many) is actually a deep cut and pretty rare. A collab she did with Andy White and Billy Bragg -- but it's actually an Andy White song, "Religious Persuasion". She's absolutely both ethereal and enraged in the best way in this song.
