Rode 30k through #warsaw on this chinese-italian #singlespeed haha. Minor adjustments pending and I should be able to pull of twice as much at tolerable pain levels.

I put a proper, more narrow, 68x103 bottom bracket on my fixie/singlespeed to straighten the chain line. Used to have 68x111.
Now, this is how the gap between the chain and the pump look like 🤏 😂
Will move it to the other side, I guess.

With help of a passerby he managed to convert his 1x11 #drivetrain to a #SingleSpeed one.
Hangers fatigue and break, especially when riding off-road; it's better to be ready for that: carry spare hanger, chain breaker, pliers, chain link. We had only a chain breaker 😔
I've also heard that gearhubs are pretty reliable 😜

I've been thinking a lot about how all the (semi) furious pedalling I've been doing distracts from one of my favourite things about cycling, which is the joy of random discovery (places, things, whatever). This year I'm making a conscious decision to try and find some time for slow cycling on this bike shaped object. Just wandering around and seeing stuff and hopefully taking some nice pictures.
