Burning underground coal seam, Hunter Valley, NSW, 2012

probably still going? very nice views towards the hunter, must see scenic stop when driving through the upper hunter valley, i think its towards dubbo

the burning coal seam is 5 minutes by foot next to the parking area

also try to spot the open pit coal mines around Singleton, i tried hard but could not get a good shot on these obscene wounds in the landscape.
