Okay, I want to share something with the #histodons , #sinology scholars and people interested in the #history of #dataVisualisation

In my free time, I scan Chinese periodicals from the first half of the Twentieth Century (which are stored on the #internetArchive) and came across this beauty in a bilingual pictorial called Liangyou 良友 or the Young Companion from 1939. It depicts the war situation in Europe, visualising manpower per country.

Hi y'all.

I'm Cedric. I'm a #Belgian working as a teacher. I studied #sinology at #Ghent #University. I also grew up in #WindBands where I play the #trombone.

Since I'm a bit socially awkward I will probably spend most of my time lurking here. I might reply when I read things that I absolutely disagree with.
