😍 I'm over the moon to share the news that #Transtopia in the #Sinophone Pacific (Columbia UP, 2021) has received the Alan Bray Memorial Book Award Honorable Mention from the GL/Q Caucus of the Modern Language Association for the best book in LGBTQ studies in literary and cultural studies. Just learned the writer Sanmao 三毛 not only wrote nonfiction but also left a whole album of poems that were adapted into songs. Listening to them today and the music is so beautiful. The album is called 回声 Echo 🥺
