A near-perfect fossil of a pterosaur, Sinopterus dongi! 😲

This specimen is from the early Cretaceous period, that’s about 145 to 100 million years ago! This species probably had an average wingspan of over 1 meter!

This specimen was collected in Chaoyang, Liaoning, China and is now part of the Museum of Natural History in Beijing.
