I also got to try the pork and shrimp wontons, which were pretty tasty. It's a little weird to call them wontons since they're not in soup, & wontons aren't generally served soupless. It was more like siu mai.

We also tried the bok choy & mushroom dumplings, which I also liked. I'm curious as to the ingredients because even the leafy part of bok choy doesn't have the flavor I tasted in the dumpling. I was getting a chive taste. #sipandsavor #lunarnewyear #disneycaliforniaadventure #magicishere

We also had the spicy pork dandan noodles, which were also very tasty. The pork is chopped small enough, though, that it falls to the bottom of the container.

Last week, I got to try a few #sipandsavor items from the #lunarnewyear kiosks. The red spice fried chicken bites were tasty but were definitely *very* spicy. I'm pretty good with a decent level of heat, but I had to take breaks or take bites of something else in between to let the heat in my mouth subside. #disneycaliforniaadventure #magicisback #magicishere

Colombian-style beef empanadas swith aji verde and cabbage salad tossed with cilantro dressing and escabeche from #sonomaterrace. I really enjoyed the empanada, which had really good flavor. I liked the flavor of the verde sauce but didn't use it on the empanada because I didn't think the flavors went together, and I thought the citrus flavor in the verde would just destroy the flavoring of the beef filling. Loaded latkes (traditional latkes loaded with smoked brisket, topped with dairy-free horseradish cream and scallions) from #smokejumpersgrill . I had a taste of brisket and thought the flavor was good. The husband enjoyed the dish but said it was a little dry. Pork belly adobo - garlic fried rice with braised pork belly, chicharron pieces and green onion. The pork belly was fattier than normal. I would have liked a little more actual meat. Brisket slider with smoked onions and horseradish ketchup on a pretzel roll. The brisket was really good, but the "horseradish" ketchup was a lie. There was zero hint of horseradish. It wasn't even like cocktail sauce. Curry mac and cheese with crispy garbanzos, minus cilantro oil because of the husband. This was a wonderful dish. The crispy garbanzos were a nice touch. Lox and everything bagel nachos - bagel chips, cream cheese, diced smoked salmon, everything spice, and mixture of onions, tomatoes and capers.
